What is a Land Registry compliant Lease Plan and do I need one?

In 2002 and 2003 new rules were introduced by the Land Registry. The 2003 Rules state that any new lease lasting seven years or longer must be registered with the Registry and have a compliant lease plan. Part of the lease application requires a Registry compliant lease plan to be produced and submitted.

Do you already have a lease plan? Can you use it?

If your property was registered before 2002, it is almost certain your plan won’t comply with the current Land Registry guidelines.

4D Planning can produce the Lease Plans to comply with the Land Registry requirements. Get in touch for a competitive quote.
